2nd grade is a year of becoming big kids. This is the year they will take charge of their own learning. They will set goals for themselves especially in reading.

What do we learn?
All subjects are taught in the light of God's Word from Math to Writing. The children will learn cursive writing. They will become proficient in adding and subtracting and will begin learning multiplication in May. They will learn how to write personal narratives, informational, and opinion wiriting. They will become more fluent readers.
